    Privacy statement

    Denapp takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We want that you know, when we collect which data and how we use it. We have taken technical and organisational measures that ensure that the rules on data privacy are observed both by us and by external service providers.

    The data protection officer and person responsible for the collection, processing and use of personal data in the context of the use of the services offered through our website, the Denapp UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Klarastraße 27, 04229 Leipzig, can be reached via our
    contact form.

    Personal data

    Personal data are information which can be used to investigate your identity. This includes information such as your name, address, postal address, phone number. Information that is not linked to your identity (such as number of users of the site) is not included. You can use our online services without revealing your identity.

    Protection of minors

    Children and persons under 18 years without the consent of parents or legal guardians should not transmit personal data to us. We request no personal information from children, do not collect them and do not share them with third parties.

    Use of cookies

    Cookies are small text files that are sent by a web server to your computer. Your browser stores this cookies to the appropriate location. You can set in your browser if you allow the storage of cookies on your computer or reject. In case of rejection functions that depend on the use of cookies are not available.

    On several pages, we use cookies to make visiting our website attractive and to allow use of certain functions. The cookies we set serve the registration of new customers, the authentication of registered customers and the ordering process. Cookies on our website expire after a few hours.

    Collection and processing of personal data

    Whenever you access our server data is stored for statistical and security purposes. We record only for a limited time, the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, the date and time, the type and version of the used browser, and the page you visit. This data is used solely to improve our Internet service and evaluated not traceable to you. We reserve the right to induce the derivation of personal data using individual datasets, in case of serious breaches of our Terms and unauthorized access or attempted access to our servers.

    If you connect to us (e.g. contact form, e-mail, telephone), we process your data for feedback and internal purposes (e.g. control and improvement of our business processes). If you are a customer of Denapp, your contact request will be stored in our customer database.

    You can create a customer account on our website. We process your personal data provided as part of the registration to activate the customer account and to complete and fulfill contracts with you. Without the provision of the requested data we cannot conclude a contract with you. Through this customer account, you can – if offered – use personal services, such as retrieve invoices, make changes to your contract/options, and manage privacy settings and any consent statements that you have made.

    Security of personal data

    We use appropriate, continuously improved, technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data stored by us against unauthorized access by third parties. We process and store your data on specially protected servers in Germany. Access is restricted to a few authorized persons who are involved in the technical, commercial or editorial care of the servers.

    The statistical data of the access to our servers will be permanently deleted after three months at the latest. Customer data, which are subject to tax or commercial law retention obligations (e.g. invoices) are stored for the respective statutory retention period (tax law 10 years, commercial law 6 years).

    Transfer of personal data to third parties

    We use your personal information in the case of orders only within Denapp and the companies responsible for shipping. We do not disclose it to third parties without your express consent. If we are obliged by law or court order, we will transfer your data to the relevant authorities.

    Rights of persons affected

    You have the right to receive information about your processed data. On request, the Denapp will provide information about the stored personal data and their use.

    You have the right to have your processed data corrected. If data are incorrect and the person concerned is not able to correct them in the customer account, the Denapp will correct them on request and after verification.

    Under certain legal conditions, you have a right to object. If you believe that data processing is unlawful, you have the right to object.

    Under certain legal conditions, you have the right of deletion of your personal data. The data have to be deleted when it is no longer needed and there is no legal basis for processing.

    Under certain legal conditions, you have the right to restrict processing. If an objection is filed or the correctness of the data is checked, for the duration of the audit a restriction of the processing of the data may be demanded. If data has been unlawfully processed or is no longer needed, the concerned person may request that the data be restricted instead of being deleted.

    Under certain legal conditions, you have the right to receive or transfer the personal data relating to you. On request by an concerned person, the Denapp will make the stored data available in a machine-readable format or, if possible, transfers it to another responsible body.

    You have the right to lodge a complaint with the local supervisory authority responsible for the Denapp:

    To assert the rights, a message must be sent to the Denapp. To prevent that unauthorized persons exploit this, the Denapp can require that a person who invokes a right, proves their identity.
